STUDENTS GET INVOLVED
Here’s how students can get involved:

Young Composers

A student or a group of students may enter an original musical composition that is anywhere from 16 to 64 measures, in any meter and in any key based on our theme “Music: The Language of Love” The three winning entries will be professionally arranged and performed by the DVPO at the Feb. 17, 2007 concert.

Young Artists

Artists Students may enter color drawings in any medium, single or mixed - acrylic, oil, watercolor, inks , pastels, guache, paper collage, charcoal mixed, - except computer generated design. Each entry must be completed by a single artist. Art should be centered on the theme, “Music: The Language of Love” Final graphic size may be up to 11”x14” 'portrait format'. Winning entries will be displayed at the Feb. 17th concert.

Young Poets

Students may enter poems of any style - free verse, rhyming couplets, sonnets, etc. - from 14 to 32 lines based on our theme, “Music: The Language of Love” Winning poems will be read at the pre-concert lecture on February 17th and published in the Program Book.
